There is a rapture on the lonely shore;
There is society, where none intrudes.
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more...

Steely Dan

The night started with talk of diminishing egg counts and possible in vitero fertilization, somewhat ironic for the jazzy baby making music of Steely Dan. Love certainly was in the air as people's hips were swaying and jelly rolls moving to the jazz funk infusion of the evening.
As the sun set and the cool night breeze wafted over us, lighted wine glasses and geriatric drunkenness highlighted the show. It was good to hang out with friends again to the music of the seventies.
