There is a rapture on the lonely shore;
There is society, where none intrudes.
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more...

Fiona Apple

"I tell you how I feel but you don't care
I say tell me the truth but you don't dare
You say love is a hell you cannot bear
And I say gimme mine back and then go there - for all I care."
-Sleep to Dream
The taut, sinewy muscles gripped the microphone as one would hold onto a life preserver of a sinking ship, never to let go. Fiona doesn't address the audience, her spell more intimate and mesmorizing. She stands before you in a simple dress, letting you see into her soul as her voice acts as a long blade slicing open the dark thoughts you might have tried to abandon....

"I've been a bad bad girl
  I've been careless with a delicate man
 And it's a sad sad world
 When a girl will break a boy just because she can.
 Don't you tell me to deny it
I've done wrong and I want to suffer for my sins
I've come to you 'cause I need guidance to be true
And I just don't know where I can begin..."

A performance as unique as the artist, an unforgettable night.
